Quick-Tip: copy resource URL

Are you tired of typing the URLs to resources stored in the WebContent folder and risking mistakes? Not any more!

I once used to simply drag and drop the resource into my source code between the two quotes. But that resulted in faulty URLs that I had to correct.

I stumbled upon a simple but useful way to get the URLs completely and without typing - just copy and paste them. Here is how to do it:

Open the navigator or package explorer view in DDE, navigate to the resource you want to link to in your source code. Then right click the file and select the URL part that is needed. Fortunately you can select and copy text in this dialog! Now paste the URL to where it belongs (between the two quotes).

Done! L├Ąchelnd
